I would like PowerArchiver to create strongly encrypted, one-off, self-destructive archives that would anihilate just after decompressing the content, with no traces left and impossible to undelete/recover

There is temp file wiping (including several passes) and FIPS 140-2 certified AES encryption :-)

Hello,
PowerArchiver features strong FIPS 140-2 AES 256 encryption, including DoD 5220.22 Temporary file Wiping which does exactly what you seem to be looking for.
You can configure all of this in the Options>Configuration section.
Thanks.

Thanx a lot for the configuration hint, but I didn't mean the temp files only
What I also wish to see is the source archive itself that would get automatically eradicated - entirely and irrecoverably - once it has been activated to unpack the content.
Best regards
